Dear Parents,
As we finished the Math Time Unit last week, students worked on a "Perfect Movie Day" project. First, they had to choose a time of a movie they wanted to see (listed on colored paper). Then, they wrote the time on an analog clock, described the time in words and explained if it was in AM or PM. Last, students wrote a story about their day at the movies.

Welcome to Quarter 3!
Your student is halfway through 2nd grade! Above is a picture of our Reading Data Wall. Each student updated their monkey with their new level. The left shows each student's reading level in October. The right shows each student's reading level in January. What improvement! Ask your student about their reading level and their new goal next testing in May.
